Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Servers to join our dynamic events team. The ideal candidates will provide exceptional service to our guests during various events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for setting up dining areas, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet tables, chairs, linens, and other dining elements according to event specifications.
- Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously during events.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and drinks, ensuring high-quality service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the banquet area throughout the event.
- Work closely with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth service and timely food delivery.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and address any concerns or needs during the event.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in the breakdown and clean-up of banquet areas after events, including cleaning tables, chairs, and serving equipment.
- Participate in pre-event briefings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry is preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays or equipment.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service techniques is a plus.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Current TABC and Food Handler’s certificate or ServSafe certification is required.
